Our art tour
On a sunny afternoon our whole school walked around looking at other peoples art work for our korero Art alive. My favourite art work was the year 7's and 8's. As I walked around the school I saw some of my siblings work. After that we silently walked back to class.

Colours
Colours can make us feel happy or sad and they can make us feel hungry or relaxed. Red, orange and yellow are warm colours. Warm colours make us feel happy however yellow,red and orange can also mean danger. Red can also make you hungry. Cool colour include green, blue and purple. Cool colours are usally calming but can also mean sadness. Purple can also mean creativity as it is a mix of red and blue.

Piet Mondrian
When Mondrian made his paintings he would always mix his own colours and never use the paint directly out of a tube. He often used primary colours red,yellow and blue to keep his paintings pure and simple.
