Blessing Letter to my next years teacher.

Our art tour

 On a sunny afternoon our whole school walked around looking at other peoples art work for our korero Art alive. My favourite art work was the year 7's and 8's. As I walked around the school I saw some of my siblings work. After that we silently walked back to class.

Colours

 Colours can make us feel happy or sad and they can make us feel hungry or relaxed. Red, orange and yellow are warm colours. Warm colours make us feel happy however yellow,red and orange can also mean danger. Red can also make you hungry. Cool colour include green, blue and purple. Cool colours are usally calming but can also mean sadness. Purple can also mean creativity as it is a mix of red and blue.

Piet Mondrian

 When Mondrian made his paintings he would always mix his own colours and never use the paint directly out of a tube. He often used primary colours red,yellow and blue to keep his paintings pure and simple.

 In 1961 Andy Warhol came up with the idea of using popular items in his art. He called it pop art. e would use pictures of these common items and change their colours. Andy used contrasting colours in his art.

Athletics day

 On a sunny Friday we went to go do Athletics. Some of room 20 went with ms Adina. My favourite activity was the 50-75 meter sprint its because its a game that I can play with my friends. I made it to the finals and I came 3rd. Mr Burt was in charge of the sprint. When mr Burt claps we have to run.First we had to run 50 meters. In the last round we had to run 75 meters. At the end I felt sleepy.At the end we saw the teachers race and I was impressed that ms king didn't brake her ankle at the end we played Elimination tag. We walk silently back to class and I was excited for the weekends.

Boxing recount

Every Tuesday we go to play Kiwisports. Our teacher was named Pax. We got to use gear first we had to put on our liners on. At first I thought they were gardening gloves she gave us 2 minutes to put on the gloves. After that Pax told us to get into partners, my partner was Jabal. First I had to be the coach and Jabal was the boxer. Jabal had to do jabs and crosses. Pax also told us if we talk we have to do one burpy Pax also told us about three values respect,safety and disipline.

Our second challenge was harder we had to run, keep our feet to and run. And then our last challenge was Ms king got one volenter from each team. After that we walked silently back to class.

Line tag recount.

 On a sunny Thursday we played a game called line tag. first we lined up in our teams then we walked to the court. After that we played it. Our team the red team  were going to vs the yellow team we won but then we had to vs the blue team. but first  the yellow team and the green team had play. After that it was our turn we lost. The taggers of the 1st were Fale with Naiomi.The second taggers were Prodeus  with mania. At the end I felt tired.

At a cloudy Friday we had cross country. Mr Burt had to do a siren to tell us when to go. We lined up to prepare to run. After that we ran. We ran around the red flags next to point England reserve. We came through the gate Nikau came first 1st and then Jackson came 2nd and Ngatokoa came 3rd. I felt tired at the end because we had to run 1 kilometre after I sat down and watched the Other races and drank water.

The new cross country course

One cloudy morning my class went to see the new cross country course. We started next to the park. I  talked to Willy the whole way until we got there. we started to walk out of the gate then we walked around the fence. Then Mr Jacobson was putting the red flags to show where to go. When we finally made it past the gate we saw year 6 playing AFL then we went back to our class. I felt cold because it took so long!

A huge gate with massive metal doors and a moat with sharks to guard the castle. The castle is next to a quiet city that sits beside an old volcano. Pine trees grow close to the castle gates.

Today I was reading a story called Ugly. it was all about a boy called Chris he was on his tablet then he saw that apparently his favourite bird called the kakapo was one of the uglyest bird in  New Zealand. So Chris was so upset that when his dad came he said to do a protest. So the next day Chris had sign  and on the sign says Help the Kakapo, sign the petition. 

Differences at school on level two

 

At the first day of school we had to stay two meters apart. We had to stay at our own table with our friends we had to stay two rulers next to each other. But we can't touch each other so room 20 had to do love hearts to each other. At lunchtime we got to play soccer everyday with miss Va afeswanga. We don't sit on the mat anymore to mihis and karakias an we have to be stuck to our chair and we have to use handsenatizer everytime we come in the class and when we have lunchtimes and everyday after school I felt tired.

Then we when he skateboarded we followed him. So after the game our couch said to put our helmet and skateboard away. Then the coach said that Moimoi can do an Olly.

This story is about a family that moved into a bigger house. Then a girl called Katie she found a gnome on a rock, Katie saw that the gnome was holding a small fishing rod. Katie thought the gnome was ugly but then she thought it was a little bit cute. Then she put it on her sewing window and Katie's mum saw the gnome she asked the husband to put it in the shed so he did. He put a big cartoon and the gnome with toys and books and he took it to the school gala. At ten o clock on Saturday the gala started it looked very cool there was full of family's enjoying all the fun activities like face painting and pony rides it looked so fun. The next day their neighbour gave them a box when they opened it it was the gnome. That made me laugh hard out and I really enjoyed this story.

Cooking Tongan pancakes

On Saturday me and my mum made Tongan pancakes (La'i keke). Mum had to make the mixture of flour and sugar, then put oil first into the frying pan waited it to sizzle then we poured the mixture. I poured a big pancake and waited for it be cooked. We made 12 pancakes for me and my brothers I had fun because it was my first time cooking Tongan pancakes (La'i keke).

Treasure hunt

One sunny day me, mum, my papa and brothers did a treasure hunt blindfolded. Timothy went first then it was Elijah's turn, Sione's turn, then mine. it was so difficult to see because we were blindfolded we had to listen to others instruction. When we all got our treasure we all sat down and opened it and it was M & Ms. It was tasty we all enjoyed it.

Painting a dinosaur statue

Me, my mum and brothers were painting dinosaur statues and we were so excited to paint it. There were only two paint brushes, Elijah and I let the younger two start first. The younger two painted the trex and me and Elijah waited on the couch while they finish. When they were done, me and Elijah allowed it to dry. it was dried for 2hours when it was dried our dad came from work and he tried to guess which dinosaurs we pained he got two right but got the other two wrong. I had so much fun and I can't wait for the next activities that we will be doing next.

On Saturday we were playing outside, ]we also made a exercising routine we have letters we have to spell our names then it tells us what exercise your doing we do that everyday I love it very much because I do it with my family.
